Ash conveying by pressurized pneumatic system requires the use of air lock type valves beneath each ash pick up station. These may be double dump gate type airlock valves or self sealing type rotary feeder valves. Ash conveying air is provided by an air blower unit located by an air blower unit located upstream of ash pick up stations.
